Terms of Service

Welcome to ShareVibes. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What ShareVibes is

ShareVibes is a peer-to-peer community for exchanging skills using time credits. One credit represents roughly one hour of help. No cash changes hands through the platform. Sessions are arranged directly between members.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to use ShareVibes.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account.
• Provide accurate information. Impersonation, fake profiles, and duplicate accounts are not allowed.

3. Credits & sessions

• Credits are a non-monetary unit of exchange. They have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred outside the platform, or redeemed for money.
• When you book a session, credits are set aside and released to the teacher once both sides confirm the session was completed.
• Cancellations before a session refund the held credits. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in account limits.
• ShareVibes may reverse credits in cases of fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (skills, bios, messages, reviews). You grant ShareVibes a limited license to display it on the platform so other members can find and interact with you. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

5. Community rules

You must follow the Community Conduct guidelines. Harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, spam, and unsafe behavior are grounds for suspension.

6. Sessions happen between members

ShareVibes helps members find each other. We don't employ, endorse, or supervise teachers or learners. You are responsible for evaluating who you meet, meeting in safe places (especially for in-person sessions), and complying with local laws.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShareVibes disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any session arranged through it.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Conduct rules.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app; continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
