Community Conduct
Last updated: July 13, 2026
ShareVibes only works when people show up for each other. These guidelines apply to every interaction on the platform — messages, sessions, reviews, and everything in between.
Be kind and respectful
- Treat everyone the way you'd want to be treated as a beginner.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination based on identity, background, or ability.
- Assume good faith. Ask before you judge.
Show up
- Be on time for sessions. If plans change, message the other person as early as you can.
- Cancel through the app so credits move correctly and the other member knows.
- Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may lead to account restrictions.
Keep it honest
- Only offer skills you can actually teach. Set expectations realistically.
- Reviews should reflect real experiences. No fake reviews, no coordinated ratings.
- Don't try to game credits, run multiple accounts, or move transactions off-platform to avoid the rules.
Keep it safe
- For in-person sessions, meet in public places when possible, especially the first time.
- Don't share sensitive personal information (ID numbers, banking details) with other members.
- If someone makes you uncomfortable, end the session and report them.
What's not allowed
- Illegal activities of any kind.
- Sexual, romantic, or exploitative solicitations disguised as skill exchanges.
- Anything requiring professional licensing where you don't hold one (medical, legal, financial advice presented as professional service).
- Spam, MLM/pyramid recruiting, or using ShareVibes to funnel people to paid services.
Reporting & enforcement
If you see behavior that breaks these rules, report it from the session or profile menu. We review reports and may warn, limit, or remove accounts depending on severity. Serious violations (harassment, threats, illegal activity) result in immediate removal.
Thanks for helping keep this a place people actually want to be.
